MINI CHALLENGE TROPHY TO HEADLINE CROFT MINI FESTIVAL
The Vertu MINI CHALLENGE Trophy will take on a star role at an all-new event scheduled to take place at Croft on the weekend on 7/8 September.
The event will celebrate all things as the North Yorkshire circuit plays host to rounds 13, 14 and 15 of the campaign for the Cooper category, which returns to action this weekend at Donington Park after the summer break.
A total of 14 races are scheduled to take place across the Croft weekend, the vast majority of which will feature MINI models from through the years.
The all-action Mighty Minis will be in action twice across the two days, with three races apiece for both the Scottish MINI Cooper Cup and MINI CHALLENGE Clubsport with Airtec Motorsport – which will bring the curtain down on its 2024 season during the meeting.
The Heroes of FF1600 Sprint Cup series provides single-seater action on Saturday with two races to bring the curtain down on the 2024 campaign, whilst the weekend will be completed on Sunday afternoon by a special MINI Enduro race running across 40 minutes.
Alongside the on-track action, a range of activities will be available for fans including live music, a pitlane walkabout and autograph session and the opportunity for children to gain their first experience of driving at the wheel of a MINI themselves alongside a qualified instructor.
Tickets for the weekend start at £18 for each day, with children under the age of 15 and under going free.
Owners of MINI cars old and new are able to book special VIP packages for Sunday that include exclusive parking in the infield area as well as the opportunity to drive a lap of the circuit ahead of the racing action getting underway.
